Well, honestly, we have thousands of poker chips.
We could even use our own, then we'd only have to pay for the labels (which would be cheap).... the most expensive part would probably just be the ink to print them, and the chip stands they sit on.
So, I could do
John Smith
Mandalay Bay
Jane Smith
Mandalay Bay
And it wouldn't seem weird they weren't on the same one?

I think, because of the style of place card, it'd be okay. But I'd try to find a way to keep the couple's names near eachother even if it werent alphabetical if they don't have the same last names. Perhaps you could tape them together or something like that.
I think it'd be really cool to do them that way, b/c then each person gets their own.
I'd totally keep it forever. It's a really neat little thing.
and printing your own labels shouldnt be too hard at all!

You know what you could do (if space is an issue??)
Just group the different chips w/names into sections on the place card table and put a large place card in front of each section of chips that says the table name (Mandalay Bay, etc)

I was thinking that too.
And then alphabetize them by section.
I just don't want people to have to stand there for 10 minutes to find their table..... think that will be an issue?

I don't think it would be a HUGE issue - but it may take people more than 1 minute to find their name - but that's what the cocktail hour is for after all!![]()
