Its so ridiculous! The rise in ticket prices reflects the fuel costs as it is! I am so glad I am flying Continental to Vegas this summer and for our HM! I hope the other airlines dont follow!

totally sux!! Ive been trying to find flights for DH and I to go to Ohio for xmas and everything is like $650-$800 for the two of us JUST for flights!!!! UGH!!!! Looks like we are going to have to drive the 10 hours!

I rather them just add the 15 bucks into the cost of the ticket than hand them $15 bucks. Now everyone and their mother will be carrying on their bags and theres not going to be enough room.

Yup so many people bring huge carry on bags when they really shouldnt. Its going to be so crazy!!

When DH and I went on our honeymoon, we had to put our carry ons at our feet cus all the over head was taken. It was a crappy 10 hour flight with nooo leg room!!!

so not right....we pay enough as it is.....just another expense we have to worry about since we are flying AA to Hawaii for our honeymoon.

I am SO not happy with this! The good news is that I only pack 1 really big bag to check so at least I won't incur the additional $25 but this is insane! Like we don't pay enuf money for gas on a daily basis! And now probably all the other airlines are going to start doing this, too!

I think from now on, I'm booking my seats allll the way in the back of the plane..at least this way i know I'll be first to board lol

Seriously !! we already had an increase in the ticket price and now they are going to charge us for our baggage ..%* !!!

All of the airlines are going to follow suit (at least the major air carriers). For those who already booked trips you are not going to be charged, it is for flights booked after June 1 starting travel date is June 15.

Oh and it is domestic flights only.

yeah, thank goodness all the airlines aren't doing it. actually LAN is giving a free third checked bag, not sure if it's just for overseas though.

AA why do you suck so hard??

I am very p-oed at this! We aren't flying AA for our honeymoon (using Delta) but we are using AA for my bachelorette party. We leave on June 20th! This sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
