Re: american idol

I haven't turned it on ONCE! I've been working on planning my spring concert and we have the Yankee game on.

The Bee Gees night kinda turned me off.

Go Melinda & Jordin! They gotta be the top 2!

I can understand why Melinda would annoy people but I LOVE her- she is the consummate performer!!!

whats consummate mean?

I know I know what it means but I wasn't sure how to explain it so I looked it up on the net:

adj. (k?n-sum'it, kon's?-m?t)

1. Complete or perfect in every respect: consummate happiness. See synonyms at perfect.
2. Supremely accomplished or skilled: “Sargent was now a consummate master of brushwork” (Roberta Smith).
3. Complete; utter: a consummate bore.

Yes she falls under supremely accomplished or skilled.

NOT to be confused with cosummate as in 'consummate the marriage'

consummate performer is pronounced 'CON-su-met'
consummate the marriage, i.e. get it on is CON-su-MATE
