Re: American Idol-who's watching?

I hope Diana is as successful as Clay is. Most people think Clay won last year.

YAYYYYYYYYYY!!! FANTASIA WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're both talented singers though, I guess it's just a matter of preference - neither one deserves to be bashed.

BUT YAY! So happy she won.

Re: American Idol-who's watching?

i orginally wanted diana to win and thought fantasia was annoying at first but i changed my mind tonight and voted for Fantasia. Im glad she won. I liked Diana but thought she was a little too cutesy for me.

Re: American Idol-who's watching?

I was so sad. I really don't like Fantasia's voice but I knew she was going to win.

Edited to say I will buy Diana's. I bet if they write her a great song she will be just as successful as Clay too. I hope so!

I totally agree. Each will be successful in their own way.

But Fantasia sang 'I Believe' soooooo much better than Diana did.

Re: American Idol-who's watching?

Still thought LaToya was the best singer of the group .. but .. not surprised that Fantasia won .. and I don't think she needed the bias from the judges last night to help her along, either.

On a rather risky note .. I'll go out on the edge here as I wonder .. am I the only one who questions an 'American Idol' being a 19-year-old mother of a child who looks to be about age 2? Just wondering if that sends a wrong message to the youth of today.

what message? the message that if you work hard, even though you've had problems, you can achieve your dreams???

Re: American Idol-who's watching?

I was happy that Fantasia won - I think overall she is a better performer and singer than Diana. She's different (her voice) and I think that is what they are looking for in an American Idol.

Re: American Idol-who's watching?

I was at an American Idol party. ITA that JPL looked like a jerk and it was painful to hear Camille and Jasmine and Leah sing. I am disappointed that Diana didn't win. Anyone vote? I think LaToya was the best too.
