AMerican Idol's Corey Clark - April fool's or not?
I heard on Z-100 this morning that Corey Clark was taken off American Idol because he was arrested for fighting with his sister ?? At first I thought it was true, but now realizing it's April Fool's Day, I can't be sure. Has anyone else heard about this?

I heard it too... not sure though! Remember last year they played the prank that one of the ZJ's wasn't going to be a part of the show anymore... They really got me on that one!

I would say that it was a Z100 joke, except that FH told me about it too and he listens to 1010 Wins...so who knows? They said he is charged with assaulting his sister and resisting arrest.

I heard the same thing on WPLJ this morning. He is due in court in 2 weeks for battery against his sister and he has some outstanding things going on with passing bad checks. Not sure if it's all true or not. I guess we will find out tonight.

I did not hear this!!! But I hope it is true- that they kicked him off, not that he assaulted his sisiter. Even if its not I think Corey should go bye-bye after this week. Poor Paula, I'm sure she will be so upset. Do you think they will get anyone to replace him? I thought they already had their final date picked for some time in May. I wonder what they wil do to fill the week if he is gone?

i hope he did get kicked off--he should've been kicked off back in the beginning when he acted like a 14 year old and thought he was such a tough a$$ --l-o-s-e-r

I am so sick of his I am the best attitude, I want to punch the TV when I see his smug face. And enough about not looking up when they are saying who is in the bottom three. If Ryan has to tell him to look up one more time, I am going to scream!!!

HAHAHHA Michelle your post made me laugh! That's so funny what you said about him not looking up--why does Paula love him so much? Ever since that one time that he forgot the words to that song ( I think it was Kiss from a Rose) and he improvised and sang to her-she's loved him-- he is so annoying and arrogant!

not an april fool's joke - unless the washington post is also in on it.
i truly can't say i'm upset.... one more week of listening to him sing would have sent me over the edge. his voice was like fingernails scratching down a chalkboard.... ick!

The reason Paula likes him, is becasue he sang to her, she is not a good judge, she never says anything bad, and tells people they are good, when they need to be told they did sdomething bad, how can people learn wothout being told what was wrong in their performance.
Paula annoys me, I can't stand when she tands up when they are singing, sit down Moron!!!!
