American Idols Live
Hi girls. I know I said I would post a review, so here's a quick one!!
First of all, the Coliseum was PACKED with screaming young girls (mostly for Clay!). It definately seemed that Clay was the big fav over Ruben, and Clay was AMAZING. It's still amazes me how that voice comes out of that body!
Each of the top 10 (with the exception of Corey and Josh) were there. Charles Grimsby (sp??) was OK...never a big fav of mine.
Then was Julia Damatto...She sang that Christina Aquilera song 'Beautiful' and was really good!
Ricky Smith was good (Forgot what song he sang...?) I always liked him on the show, but his voice was WAY sqeakier than I remembered.
Carmen sang a Shania Twain song (think the name is Up, up, up...?). She always annoyed the h@ll out of me on the show, but was really surprised at how good she sounded! (None of that yodeling cr@p)
Kimberly Caldwell is gorgeous and sounded really great. She sang I song I never heard, but she was VERY good.
Kimberly Locke sang 'Band of GOld' and was good, but she got better later on in the show.
Then..Clay (Yes, he may be annoying, but I still think he should have won, especially after last night). He sang his new song 'This is the night' and I can't say enough how great he was. WOW.
Ruben did 2 Luther Vandross songs, and was very good.
THen they did songs together, and some more solos. (Standouts were Kimberly Locke's 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow', Kimblery Caldwell, Carmen and Julia doing that new Pink song from 'Charlie's Angels, and Clay, Ruben, Chales and RIcky doing 'The Lady is a Tramp'.
Bad memory, the new song off of Rubens album that he sang...bad, bad, bad!!!
Overall, great show!!!![]()
