American Park Battery Park City

Hi everyone, I''''m a concerned mom a bit worried about the site we''''ve chosen for my daughter in law and son''''s May ''''''''02 wedding. We''''ve already given a deposit to American Park in Battery Park City. The view is amazing but the service we''''ve received is far to casual. I''''m worried that they won''''t come through with their promises and that the happy couple will be terribly disappointed. We have enough time to find another site if we need to. I would really appreciate hearing from any brides who may have had their wedding there or gone to a wedding or a party there recently. The owners have changed hands recently..previous owners were the same as the Boathouse Cafe in Central Park. Somehow that was a bit reassuring also. please help
