Amount of Proofs

I know it varies from photographer & also per wedding, but what is the average amount of proofs for your wedding?

Also let me know your photographer. Thanks!

We used Spelman Studios. Our contract said between 400 & 500, we ended up with 650.

I used a photographer named Autumn Lin- she's by Kleinfeld's right now but is moving into NYC... I am so happy I got her when I did b/c her prices are going WAY up....

Anyway- in my package- it said 300 proofs but I got about 450

Using Great Neck Photographers and there is no set amount of proofs...

We get (at least) 900 proofs...it's our choice on how we want to split that as far as color & b&W...and aside from the obligatory posed shots - our photographers are photojournalistic.

Patken guarantees AT LEAST 275 proofs but says that they usually go way over that.

I am using Mark Kauffman and we are getting 1200-1500 proofs.
And no, just because we are using him, we are not paying per proof over 500+. Mark doesn't have set packages, he customizes everything.
No matter who your photographer is, just make sure you include everything in your contract...with no hidden fees.

We used Mark, too, and got approx. 1800 proofs. We paid for the unlimited proof package which kicked in at anything over 1250 proofs. It's a lot, but it was worth it.

We used Verdi and have about 900 proofs... mostly all photojouralistic.

VIP says around 500 proofs, but most people who have used them have said the had around 800-1000 proofs (2 photographers)

our photographer said we will have over 900 becuase we are getting photos done by photogernalist style photographer and regualar one i dont know if i want to look at 900 thats too much

We are using Mark Kauffman and we paid for 'FULL COVERAGE': $5,650.

-Approximately 1200-1500 5x6/5x5 proofs
-Two photographers plus assistant
-Mark Kauffman will be the main photographer
-One 11x14, Two 8x10s and Three 5x7s incl.
-Custom printing (enlargements), practice sessions, black and white incl.
-Professional Fine Art photographer
-Basic assistant as third

We also pre-paid some of the prints, but I can't remember the cost...I'd have to go look up the contract.
