It really is! And even worse is having to read the horrible things people write on FB about it. I understand that most people don't have much empathy for people who struggle with substance abuse, but I do! Totally my opinion, but I think when people say 'who cares' or 'it was bound to happen' don't realize that it's a disease! Although she was a 'star' and had many options to get help that others don't, at the end of the day it doesn't matter who you know or how much money you have, it's about having the will to change and stay sober and, unfortunately, she ran out of time before she found a way to beat her addiction. Prob just the advocate social worker in me...
