An 'Almost' American Idol sang Happy Birthday to me! :)
Ok, yesterday my parents take me out to lunch for my birthday which is Monday (me and Mom happened to both be out of work). So we decide to go to Chili's in Bethpage. So we are seated and start talking to the waiter. He is very sun burned and my Mom asks him about that and he said he just moved here from Orlando, Fl. He is here on a record contract. So we start talking about that and he says yeah, I was on American Idol and Pop Stars II! So I am looking at him! And what do you know, I think I do remember him. He was 1 of the 5 from Manhattan who made it but didn't make it to the Finals becuase of his appearance (he had dreadlocks in his hair (he is white, by the way)). So I asked him what Simons response was. Figuring maybe I would remember by that. He said Simon said to him, 'You are the only one who didn't waste my time today!'. I do remember Simon saying that to someone. By the way, his name is Adagio. So I was freaking out. He told me he was engaged to Jeanine someone (One of the guys from In Sync's sisters). So at the end of our lunch, he brings me a piece of birthday cake on him! :) And proceeds in the middle of the restaurant to get down on his knee and sing, Happy Birthday to me, in that great American Idol voice. OH MY GOD! :)) I think I feel in love! What a great voice.
P.S. I got his autograph (in case he ever becomes really famous someday)! Just had to share, I was so excited, I love American Idol! He is also going to be on Star Search in a few months. I am going to definitely vote for him, he won my heart! Just don't tell Mike (DH).
