Could you all possibly tell me about how much you paid for your wedding invitations (not including postage) and places you can recommend?? I'm sure there was a thread at one time or another, which obviously I missed.
I appreciate any & all of your responses, thanks a million!!!

Re: An estimated cost for wedding invitations??
I paid around $560 (give or take a few dollars) for mine...that includes 150 invitations, lined inner envelopes, printed outer envelopes, response cards w/envelopes and reception cards. We ordered them through Laura from LA Productions and she was great to work with.
I paying around 200 for mine. I haven't ordered them yet but that was what they came out to with all the extras.

Re: An estimated cost for wedding invitations??
We're paying about $1000 for 100 invitations. We're using Dayna from Calligraphy Lady and she's been super nice and so helpful. She's custom-making our invites and doing our calligraphy as well (the calligraphy isn't included in the $900).

Re: An estimated cost for wedding invitations??
We are paying about $550 for 90 pocketfold invites, custom designed.
I spent about $5 per invite (I ordered 175 invites). I bought them from Lion in the Sun and ditto everything the above poster said about them. We went full circle with them....my mom purchased my birth announcements from them and now, my wedding invites!
I have been working with a girl starting out in the business. I emailed her pictures of some invites I liked and she sent me about 10 samples. They were all beautiful! I told her what I likes etc. and she came to my house with a binder just for me of about 35-40 invite samples. Now I am at the last stages finalizing the colors, fonts, and wording. Get this... I'm paying about $2.00 per invite. This includes the invite, reception card, response card, inner envelope written out (computer font), Outer envelope addressed (computer font).
She does beautiful work. Heavy weight card stock and custom! my invite is very similar to this. I def. recommend checking her out
i spent way too much. we put it off til the end and ended up choosing anything. 75 for like 1200 from kates paperie. but the fh loved them so i'm happy.

Re: An estimated cost for wedding invitations??
Took me a bit long to respond but, definitely look into her. Obviously a more elaborate invite will run more but a less elaborate invite will probably run less.
Not to go on and on but she is actually my favorite vendor I booked. (John @ Flower Michelle is a close 2nd ) Good luck, let me know how it goes!

Re: An estimated cost for wedding invitations??
Hmmmm. Have not ordered them yet but depending on what the samples look like I am ordering 150 silk purple scroll invites with matching purple silk RSVP cards/envelopes.
I just got the pricing info. by e-mail this morning.
150 scroll cards plus 150 matching RSVP cards & envelopes with all printing
'Total Cost : 564US$
Anurodh Sablawat Web Sales Co-ordinator www.IndianWeddingCard.com'
This is the one I will likely order plus an rsvp set.
We are making our own invitations (FH is a graphic designer) and it is going to cost us about $100 for 75 invitations. That includes inner and outer envelopes, invite, response card and reception card. They are going to look something like the one below but the info itself will be on a velum overlay:
Everyone invites are so nice Ihave'nt even got around to checking out some prices I think I need to get a move on!
