An issue with my shower...and bridal party...I feel so bad!!

Oh my goodness, I am so upset, don't know what to do! I have 2 MOHs, 1 here in NY and 1 in VA and I have 3 BMs, 2 here in NY and 1 in MI. I was talking with MOH #1 here in NY, who I also work with, telling her a dream I had about my shower. We gigled about it, then she said there was a problem with my shower but didn't want to bother me. I asked her to tell me b/c she has SO much going on (new mom, back to work, etc) and she doesn't need anything more to worry about. Well, she told me that she made it clear to the girls here and in VA what she was and wasn't able to do, she said they all were more than understanding and 1 girl (she won't tell me who) offered to do the invitations, printing them herself. MOH here said she hates them, they are off center and says I will hate them, she says they are hideous. I told her that I am not expecting a lot, mostly b/c about a month ago FH asked me, on behalf of his mother, if I minded having the shower at her house. In all honesty, I would not mind, but my shower list is 65 people. Where in the world would she put even 30 people?!?! Anyway, I am very upset for my MOH who is dealing with this. She said this is only one thing that has been done so far, which she says was done late, and she is afraid of other things that will be done poorly, or less than she would want.

I don't know what to tell her, I half wish I could get involved!!

Don't worry, it'll all work itself out!! Your girls just have to get in sync with each other better.

Oh my this sounds like the problem i was having with my bridal party. 1 of my BM's and my Matron of HOnor got into a huge argument. I dont know whats going to happen at the shower. I just left it alone and let them deal with it. I have no time to deal with it.

-no one cares about the invites- i got a shower invitation that was hand written....and you know what? the shower was a blast!

-as for the house----remember you will get alot of no's - if fmil really really has her heart set on having it at her house then let her...you will get no's and most people dont stay for the whole thing anyway.. i am sure it will work out and will be more cost efficient for your bridesmaids

try to stay out of the planning for it....they are your bm's...so this is something they should be stressing over- not you

Oh Sweetie!!! I know it must be hard to hear when things are going wrong, or when people are agreeing on things... In the end everything will turn out GREAT!!!!! I totally understand it's hard not to get involved but let them work it out and do it TOGETHER.... It's funny, b/c my mom complains to me about my sister, and my sister complains to me about my mom, all about the shower plans... I am worried about things, but deep down I Know things will turn out wonderful.

Everything will Be Wonderful!!! Don't let anyone get to you, and if they feel like they have to say something, tell them they must work it out amongst (sp??) themselves..
