....FH tells me that his parents most likely think I'm a pain in the @ss.

Let's see...I've done EVERYTHING. Got no help from anyone. Was given a hard time from FIL's.
From researching each and every vendor to making appointments and coordinating everyone's schedule and now tracking RSVPs, I've never so much as gotten a thank you. It makes it even worse to think that FIL's are ANNOYED with me.....

I can't stop thinking about what FH said.

I know that doesn't help anything, but forget them- it's not their wedding. I'm fine with people being annoyed at me, it's their problem not mine

Oh sweetie, thats horrible. I wouldn't worry about it though. I would try to be extra friendly around them so maybe they might feel sorry that they said that. Don't let it bother you.

I know you love him and all, but comments like these should not be made!

We know all the work a bride puts in, so her day is the magical dream come true that she so desparately wants!!!

Don't take this to heart - they don't know what they're missing for not being more of a part of this whole process and when all is said and done, your day is about YOU, not them!

It's easy for someone who's not in your position to say forget them. But you kind of have to ignore it. It's a slap in the face for them to think that about you considering what they've put you through. However, seriously consider who it's coming from. And then think about how much it matters if they think that. If you have your FH on your side and if it comes down to it, stay away from the FILs as much as you can.

I'm really sorry to hear that he told you that. You certainly don't deserve it. Please don't allow them to make you feel badly

Why would you FH say that to you?...Even if his parents did say that he shouldnt have said that you...he knew that it would hurt your feelings....maybe HE is the one that is annoyed...you should definitely talk to him and straighten this out...

not for nothing, and i dont want to sound rude here, but your FH shouldnt be telling you what his family says about you. that is one of those golden rules of marriage.
