And Guest Invitation ????

And Guest Invitation ????

I'm asking this question for my sister

She already addressed her envelopes for her invitations and didn't think about this when addressing them. She doesn't have inner envelopes, so how would people know they are invited with a guest if she only addressed the invite to that person?

Should she personalize the response card to say Mr. John Smith & Guest, so they know they are invited with a guest?

I had inner envelopes, that's why I'm lost on this.

Thanks

Yeah I would personalize the RSVP card.

I didn't use inner envelopes either, but I had a line on my RSVP card to indicate the number of seats reserved for that person. If I didn't know the name of their guest in advance, the person just write it in when they mailed it back.

I like your suggestion..it would help avoid some confusion!

Yea, if her addressing is already done and doesn't include '& guest' on the envelope, she should put it on the rsvp card.

I dont have an inner envelope so I personalized the rsvp card to say Mr. john Smith and Guest. I also hoped by having the guests name on there it would eliminate people adding anyone

I did the same thing. This should also prevent people from bringing uninvited kids!
