Ok, so if the invite is specifically addressed to MR. & MRS. SO AND SO, why the hell are you sending me the rsvp back with MR. & MRS. SO AND SO and 2 KIDS & INFANT???!!!!
The reception is adult only with the exception of the kids in the bridal party.
FMIL is calling them. i can't believe the nerve??!!

to be honest, i never really knew about that whole thing until i got engaged ... i always assumed that if i was invited, i'd get a +1 too. i wonder if i've ever gone to a wedding and brought an un-invited guest ...
anyway, Mr & Mrs So-and-so are obviously married so they have no excuse! that's annoying!

I Soooooooooooo understand. I addressed it to Mr. and Mrs. also....but found out by word of mouth that the couple is planning on bringing their mother too. what the heck is that all about?

OMG - ITA. Right now we (my parents and I) aren't talking to 4 family members because of all the effing drama (I'm sorry that your 6 and 8 yr olds, who are the devil incarnate together, are not invited to my black tie night adult only wedding) Ugh - so frusterating.
