and NOW I'm crying at work!!!

I don't normally share things like this (I can't believe I'm doing this) but I'm listening to music streamlined on my comp in the office and Third Eye Blind comes on (so it reminds me of my good friend who passed away). It was his favorite band in the world. So then I start to cry at my desk!!! (discreatly so no one in the office sees it and freaks out)...

I know it's awkward to talk about death and that's why I don't usually do it but I just can't help it this time... does this ever happen to anyone else? A little reminder and then you are bawling?? Other times I get little reminders and I'm fine. Sorry if this makes anyone uncomfy, I know how it is but I just couldn't help myself!! sorry

it just would be nice to know that i'm not the only one sometimes.

you are definately not the only one!!sometimes smtg will trigger a memory for me from my grandpa who passed about 11 yrs ago...but actually sometimes something will trigger a memory for me of smtg bad that happened like a very bad fight or personal issues and i will just start crying and obsessing over the day...you are NOT the only one!!its completely normal!!if you need anything you can FM me anytime

OH my goodness....absolutely!! Last night I saw the movie 'My Life' (which I swore I would never watch again) and was hysterical for like a good 30 min!! I thought of my grandfather and how much I missed him and so on....it definitely happens to me too! It is just certain things that set me off....a song will sometimes do it especially if it is one that was playing while he was in the hospital! You are not alone hun...it's good to cry though...very therapeutic! We're here for you!

I moved with my FH last week and I came across pictures and articles of my best friend who was hit by a car and killed when we were 14 and I was bawling my eyes out.. it's 15 years later and it makes me sick still..

Trust me I know the feeling. I'm just recently getting over the death of a close friend of the family. It's very hard.

I get this too. My grandpa died back in '97, and I still cry about it. Actually the anniversary of his death is comming up next week.

aww thanks girls... that made me feel better-- some of you have such sad stories too... and i know the sick feeling that was mentioned-- very well

but it does make you feel better to cry-- i guess with the anniversary coming up maybe that is why i'm more sensitive than normal?

it's weird though b/c i NEVER open up and share about it-- maybe that's a step in the right direction, FH is always telling me to try and do that.

thanks again for the support, i guess everyone goes through this-- such a shame.

I am a very emotional person too hun when it comes to things like that!! It's ok to cry and let things out.. maybe you needed that!

you are definitely not the only one. My grandfather passed away in 1992 and when we bring up old times and it involves him I still cry.

aww, thanks nicole... can i tell you? he says HI a lot and in a lot of subtle cute ways-- and A LOT of freaky OMG ways LOL the stories i have-- YIKES! but i love it-- he's always with me.. i call him my stalker from above hahaah

You are not alone, it happens tome alot FH's best friend paased away we used to go way with him and his girlfriend a lot, we took several cruises so when i get the emails about cruise specials my heart still sinks matter of fact I just direct them to my spam folder now...I can't take seeing them.

ooh almost forgot!!! FH (vinny as you know duh!) always says that he wouldn't be surprised if he peeks in on me in the shower or when I'm changing hahahaaha!!!!

--im the same way, i want to be able to go out and actually BUY a third eye blind CD and listen to it but i just can't-- and when it 'happens' to come on i'm a mess...

his mom, a good friend of mine, is the same way-- she can't even take HIS CD's out and look at them let alone listen to one
