And the foolishness begins...
Sooo my bridesmaid went to go pick up her dress and it had a stain on it. When she brought it to the associate's attention she tried taking out the stain. No re-Oder please. So I told my BM to get a manager involved - after 15 mins she didn't show. The associate said they would re-order the dress. When my BM asked for something in writing, she received some chicken scratch note - un-signed with no mention of a re-order. I cannot wait to be done with this place. They have been difficult from the start. I have to now go down there myself. I am so glad we ordered with enough time. Any advice ladies? Is it so wrong to ask for something in writing?

This! It is totally unacceptable to pay for a brand new dress that has been made to order and it stained!! Definitely get something in writing, signed.
Good luck!

I would call back, and speak to a manager. Also, if possible, depending on where you got the dress from, I would send a letter or you can call to the company that manufactured the dress. It's completely unacceptable!

Ugh that sort of thing worries me. I don't think anyone picked up their dress yet from my girls. I hope the store does right by you

I am really trying to avoid turning into a Bridezilla because once I go there…there is no coming back. So I showed up and spoke with the associate that helped my BM. I inspected her dress and they were able to get rid of the stain, however; now after inspecting the remaining dresses, there are noticeable stitching problems with the ruching on 3 of the 4 remaining dresses. They are going to fix the stitching in house. After calling my BM she added that they also had an issue with the zipper. After I explained this to the associate she said she would re-order the dress because she wants me to be happy. I did not get anything in writing because I couldn’t get in contact with my BM while I was in the store, I found out about the zipper after I left the store. I was told that I should hear something from them by tomorrow once they place the order. Needless to say it is a countdown to Bridezilla time if I do not hear anything by Thursday when I show up again and the ONLY person I will speak to will be the manager who I have already had to track down in the past. Fingers crossed they call me tomorrow. However this situation proved my point that I needed to be present when everyone picked up their dresses to address such issues. My FW didn’t think it was necessary and today just proved that point to the T.

Thanks, I suggest, when possible, be present when your girls pick up their dresses. I had my two Matrons pick up their dresses without incident, but of course when I don't go, there was an issue.
