And the hits just keep on coming! Mini Rant from me Updated with more hits!
Ok sorry about this little rant, I just need to vent my frustration in life!
The last month of my life has really sucked the big one pretty bad.
First we got hit with Hurricane Charley and had damage to our house. We
Were reminded that for a hurricane our deductible is not our normal $1000
But its $5260 Ugh, bite me! We applied for FEMA but apparently if you have any insurance you get denied. Whatever!
So just as we start cleaning up from Charley and
Getting some things fixed around the house…BAM! Hurricane Frances!
Are you kidding me? another friggin’ hurricane! I live in a section of Florida that has not been hit with a major hurricane in 64 years and now we have two!
After the hurricane comes through the people of central Florida were then told…ooohhhhh you have to pay another deductible to your insurance company. Great, seriously that is wonderful, we need to come up with another $5260, once again I just scream WHATEVER!
We go on and then start living in fear that Hurricane Ivan might be coming at us, which THANK GOD it did not.
The Monday after Hurricane Ivan passed us and we did not get hit, Darren and I sat home and took a sigh of relief, we were really looking forward to a weekend of non stress, non hurricane’s, non threat of hurricanes. Then Tuesday the phone rings, it’s my parents, “We are coming up to spend the weekend at your place” Mind you this is a statement and not a question. There goes the tranquility of the weekend that we thought that we had. Parents come up for the weekend, Sunday we go out to spend a nice day with the folks and guess what?? A pipe broke while we were out; we came home to a flooded house! Another $1000 deductible payment to insurance from that! So the last 5 weeks of our lives have cost us $11,520.00 Beautiful I tell you, just beautiful! (Can you hear the sarcasm?!)
