And then there were two...
...venues that is! FH and I visited what felt like a million venues in the last 2 weekends. Our plan was to spread it out, but we went to a few where the date we wanted was already booked! October 2016! I panicked and we went into venue overdrive lol. Anyway we've let go of the holiday weekend thing and settled on a Friday night wedding in either august or September. We've narrowed it down to two... Jericho Terrace (skylight room) and Fox Hollow (winter garden? Idk.. the plainer one not the one with the high ceilings and not the new building). We are going back to both with our parents on Sunday to help us decide. They were around the same price pp but fox hollow wants us to guarantee 175 and JT only 150 which is more of where we want to be.
Any thoughts on yours or others experiences at either of these places? Be honest. I can handle it!
Ps thank god this site is working again, I was having withdrawals from you ladies!
ETA: my parents got married at Fox Hollow so that's a big plus there.. Nice sentiment.

We were torn between Jericho Terrace and the venue I chose. The only reason I didn't go with JT was because of the price. I just did not connect with Fox Hollow and the room was much smaller than what I have now. I just felt like it was a wedding factory.I absolutely loved the skylight room at JT, and if we could have afforded it, we would have booked there!
Good luck!

They are both great places I looked at both and really liked both. The guarantee is really important if you are thinking 150 is more what your looking at you should go with Jericho Terrace. You don't want to get stuck paying for people that aren't there. And everyone isn't going to say yes....if you invite 180 you may only get 150.

I would say to go with your gut. Which place could you picture your wedding at? I may be biased... b/c I am a Jericho Terrace bride, but our experience with JT so far has been nothing but amazing. They are so helpful, nice, and you can really tell they care about what they do.We are in the Penthouse room and we had to guarantee 200. I love the Skylight room. Its so pretty!! If we weren't having such a big wedding I would have definitely booked that room.
I would say that you will know how you feel for sure after you visit both places with your families. Once your family is involved and you see how excited they are and they let you know which place they like... it will make the decision much easier.

Thanks ladies! We have a 250 person guest list so findin more people wouldn't be a problems, it's finding the extra $4500 to feed those people lol my parents keep saying we will get some of it back in gifts and to pick what we love. We'll see when we go back. The rooms are completely different I think I just need to see them both again back to back. So exciting!!!

We are getting married in the Skylight room then having our reception in the Dome room & our minimum is 175. Every room there is gorgeous. I agree with Kellie, they have been amazing so farWelcome New Vendors
