that's fantastic!!!! we just had our engagement pics with lia last week and she is just about the cutest thing ever. and her pics are amazing... congrats on a great choice!!!

It always feels like such a relief when you book big vendors for the day. IE photo, video, hair, makeup etc.

congrats! We liked their work a lot but didn't book them due to unavailability.

LOVE them! they were also not available on my day, so its a good thing i found Athony at Perceptions and love his work just as much.

if you dont mind me asking what is their pricing like???

They're a bit more expensive (well, quite a bit more expensive) then the others I have looked at (Duet and another not in LI)....... but I felt that photography was the one place we should spend money on in order to make sure we're happy. Since photos are forever, I wanted to make sure we had a great mix of photojournalistic (my favorite---I'm a big fan of creativity)...and the traditional posed shots for the family pics. Lia's work is AMAZING in person....and their books are even better. Duet's photography was very nice and the books were well laid out, however, we felt that Lia had a bit more creativity in her shots and the actual prints were much sharper than Duet's. Also, the books seemed to be a better quality with Imagine. As I said, this was the one vendor we really didn't mind spending money on (although, we're still not sure where ANY of the money is coming from....but we'll figure that out later ) .....and for us, Imagine had exactly what we were lookiing for.

I will FM you with the price quotes for both Duet and Imagine. We will probably use Imagine for video also....Nelson seemed very down to earth and friendly, and the video is kind of secondary to us....so no need to spend $3200 on a video with other vendors that are listed here.

Thanks again ladies for the congrats!!! One more thing off my shoulder....next we're onto DJ's and/or bands. Plus...need a quartet/harp? for cocktails. OK, breath......
