Anesthesiologist

The Maternity Coordinator at my hopsital has sent me a packet of paperwork to complete in order to pre-register at the hospital.

One of the questions asks if I want the anesthesiologist to contact me. I feel like I should say yes, considering I want to try and give birth with as little drugs as possible, (um of course when its go time... I'm sure I'll sing another song!).

Has anyone spoken to the anesthesiologist before delivery? What type of questions should I ask if they call me?

One of my friends spoke with the anesthesiologist... in fact she might have had a choice... but i'm probably wrong.

I haven't gotten a chance to meet the anesthesiologist...
