Hi! Sorry to crash. We went to Anguilla for our honeymoon. We stayed at Cap Juluca and it was AMAZING. Anguilla is so laid back and relaxing

DH's cousin went there and had GREAT things to say. They also stayed at Cap Jaluca...had breakfast on their balcony every morning! Very nice and very romantic.

I heard there isnt much to do at night....and there may not be tv's in the rooms but they didnt seem to care. They said it was an amazing place! It is also very close to St. Maarten (I think you actually have to fly into St. Maarten) so you can take a day trip there!

On a side note - I saw a special on MTV once and Anguilla was rated one of the top celebrity vacation hot spots and they even talked about Cap Jaluca on the special! CRAZY!

Yeah I would love to go there one day. We checked into it for our honeymoon but it was alittle more than we wanted to spend so we nixxed it.

I've been to CuisinArt Resort a couple of times. We were going to go back for our honeymoon but they are closed in September. I love it there...one of my favorite places! It's not cheap, but to me it's worth it.

ETA: I'm not much of a beach person, but they have the nicest beaches I've ever seen...and water bluer than I've ever seen! The sand was so soft.

Yes, its called the Malihouna. Its one of the top resorts there.

I worked at Conde Nast for a few years and they constantly had Cap Juluca listed in Traveler mag as one of the top resorts.

Although I heard Cuisinart is better.

I also heard that there is absolutely nothing to do on the island, which is why we didnt end up choosing it, but if you want nothing but relaxation, then go for it! Also, be willing to spend $200 + every night on dinner for two.
