this was a topic on another board a while back & decided to ask here. once your married will you celebrate just your wedding anniversary or your dating anniversary too??
We barely celebrate the dating anniversary..I seem to be out of town every time it hits...so we'll probably focus on the wedding one
Probably just wedding. We're getting married a month before our dating anniversary. Plus don't wanna throw too many dates on FH to remember.
i don't want to just not acknowledge our dating anniversary once were married. that is why i wanted to get married on the same day. which happens to be a saturday in 2010, but FH wants a new date. by time we get married we will be together 10 years so that date means a whole lot to me.

wedding and dating- i want it all!!!! lol. The wedding anniversary will be the big one but I would like to celebrate the dating one in little ways as well, like candle lit dinner at home or something like that.
as much as i would like to JUST celebrate the wedding ann. i know that once our dating ann. rolls around im gonna want to have a mini-celebration lol.

i like vanessa's idea...but we will probably just end up celebrating our wedding anniversary. When we get married we will be dating almost 7 years so the dating anniversary gets kinda old...Last year neither of us realized it was our anniversary until a week after the fact!! I still dont remember what our exact date is!!
(January 26 2003 i believe, or its the 24th...i cant remember FH never actually asked me to be his girlfriend, he just said to me one night 'when do you want our anniversary date to be?' after hanging out with him for about a week!!! he made me laugh!!)
I want to still celebrate both. We celebrate our dating one now and I love it. I wanna keep it that way!!!!!!!!
I voted for wedding anniversary. But I think that will be the big gift/celebrating day we do. On our date anniversary I think we would just do something small like a romantic dinner.
Just wedding anniversary...we don't really celebrate dating anniversary now. We'll somewhat acknowledge it but that kind of stuff doesn't really matter to me and it gets kind of high school-ish after a while.

We're definatly celebrating something that day since its FHs bday (our dating anniversary). I think he's happy to get married so he can have his bday back and we'll have a new anniversary to celebrate.

although Fh has a tendancy to wanna give me one gift and try to stretch it for the whole yr , like my engagemngte ring he was like tht valntines b day .... xmas hanukah .... new yr ... for the next 5 yrss lol
