Announcing BRIDAL PARTY Question

Hey Girls,

We don't want to do the typical announce each couple of the bridal party. We were thinking of just doing a general 'Here is the bridal party' and they all walk in together. Has anyone done something like this? Or seen it at a wedding before? I'm not sure how to go about it.

Any ideas for entrance songs too?

I've been at weddings where there is no 'official' announcement at all. DJs just started the party and everyone got into it.

You can do it however you want. Just make sure your BP is ok with it, too. My MOH wanted programs because she wanted people to know who she is. I agreed because I like her.

That's a unique idea! I haven't heard of anything different done but then again it is your wedding, you can do whatever you want!

ITA-- make sure the BP doesn't mind and just get on with the party-- it's like an extra 10 minutes of wedding!!!

Speaking of this, what is everyone using for Bridal Party Entrance songs? I want to use 'Stand Up' by Love Tribe, lol. Is that like too 90's??!?

I'm considering having all the guys walk in together to one song (with maybe just their first names announced), and then the bridesmaids altogether to another song, instead of escorted pairs. It seems less formal and more fun that way, yet they still get an entrance. Not sure of the songs yet, the fh wants the Rocky theme song - we'll see about that ;) Maybe we'll go ultra cheesy and have the guys come into Men in Black and the women to She's a Lady or something!
