Annoyed....

Annoyed....

FH paid well over $200 to insure my ring over 2 months ago. Well, yesterday we get a phone call telling us the ring is NOT insured because the insurance agent left out some important information from the paperwork!!! The insurance ompany is hoping to have this cleared by the end of the week - but the they said they can't credit us with the 2 months that we were uninsured!!

i'm sorry what? they cant credit you with the months that it wasnt insured- that is nuts- I would call help me howard that is bologne!

did you ask them what exactly you are paying for then? They should credit you since it is the incompetence of the insurance agent that caused all this

YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY GET A CREDIT!!!! What the heck would have happend if you NEEDED the insurance!!!

So they didn't perform a duty during the past 2 months and you STILL have to pay.. UT UH- I hardly think the law works that way.

What company is this?

That is crazy! I would not pay for the next two months since you payed and were not insured. God forbid something would have happened

no way that is ridiculous...tell them you are calling the BBB. They have no right to charge you for services they did not provide. Plain and simple. Ugh!!

Yes, we are definitely going to fight them on this. Several of you have asked who the insurance agent is - I would rather not get into details but let's just say that it is a very well known insurance firm with many offices and a good reputation. That's why I'm so surpriised at the way they are taking care of this. My uncle works for this company (in another office) so I plan on talking to him tonight. My family as well as FH's family have been using this company for years without a problem. I'm sure this will all resolve itself but we just have to make a big deal out of it.
It's not even the money I am uppset about - our policy comes to less than $20 per month. but its the principle. What if i had lost my ring - then what would we have done? trust me, we will get them to make right on this.
