Annoyed

is it wrong that i am annoyed at my p h o t o g r a p h e r ? He told us that we could not take our e p i c s when we booked him (last fall) because he did them in order of people's wedding dates and we would have to take them in July sometime - so someone please explain to me why he is doing e p i c s for '11ers???

I fell like I am the only 2010 bride who hasn't had her e p i c s done yet... I almost feel that it's not even worth it anymore.

umm.. yeah...

Call him immediately and politely, but firmly, find out what's going on. If you were inadvertently overlooked/bypassed for epics, maybe you can get him to throw in an upgrade to your package, i.e., additional time, additional pics for your album or enlargements.

I had your photographer. He usually likes to do the pictures about 3-6 months before the wedding, this way he gets to know the couple better when its close to the wedding. Yes, sometimes he makes arrangements to do it sooner with certain brides b/c perhaps that person lives out of state or has a special circumstance. I wouldn't be annoyed, but if you would like them done sooner, I would just give him a call and ask. He is such an awesome guy and I'm sure he will be responsive. The one thing that sets him apart from other photographers is his awesome customer service. Good luck!

Personally I actually liked having them done just a few months before bc we really got to know our photographer. And then the day of the wedding, it wasn't like this guy showing up who I saw a year ago, it was more comfortable for us. I'm sure if you ask, he would definitely set something up.

im like yea..maybe we can take engagement pics in a few months?? he said SURE!

he will also make exceptions and do them earlier for brides that want to use the pics for their STD's.

I wouldn't get mad about it, I know that it seemed like forever before we took ours with him, but in the end I was happy that we waited and loved our final product. Hang in there and your going to love it

can you go to another photog and get your $$ for epics from him

we haven't done ours yet.

well, we took pics before we got engaged...

but i have none with my ring on!

we are gonna do ours in the fall i think.

FH gets cranky when its hot out
