I have this one friend who always says really negative things when I talk about my wedding!
When I told her I got engaged: 'Oh man, now I have to get you a gift!' (she never gave me one anyway)
When I told her we set a date: 'You are lucky I am not planning on going on vacation that weekend'
When I told her I was so glad time was passing so quickly because I'm excited for the wedding: 'Yea well before you know it the whole thing will all be over'
I kinda wish I didn't put her on my shower OR wedding guest list!
Thanks everyone for the replies! But here's the thing- my shower is soon ad my wedding invites are already out. She was on both lists! How do I stop her from saying something hurtful on either one of those days!?!?! FH says it will be easy to avoid her on the wedding day w/ so many people around and so much else going on- but my shower will only have like 25 people. Can I just tell her to please sit at another end of the restaurant? Ughhh I seriously don't want her there but there's nothing I can do at this point!
Updated again- Thank you everyone for all your input and advice!! I honestly don't care if I remain friends with her afterwards so if she does happen to slip in one of her famous lines, I'm going to simply say, 'Do you think that's a sensitive thing to say to me' or something like that... and see what she says. She is going to be a preschool teacher!! Sensitivity should be her middle name!!

thats so rude and annyoing! if shes says anything at the shower tell her if thats gonna be her attitude then dont come to the wedding! if she doesnt say anything at the shower and does come to the wedding you wont hear anything anyway....hopefully the people around her will tell her to shut up!! I am so sorry you are dealing with this!

Just take everything she says with a grain of salt. She's obviously jealous and bitter.

I think you should tell her to her face that she is being rude and offensive and to stop it! Name the examples you gave us and tell her if she cant be happy for you and your FH she dosent NEED to take part in the events she can decline!

Sorry shes like that - its prob a personality trait of sarcasim, or she might not be handling it well, some people respond like that out of jealousy or she may feel like shes losing a friend.
But FH is right - nothing you can do about it now - using her own words, soon her crap will all be done with

Hi there sorry for crashnig but its early and Im bored!!! I had a very similar problem to yours. I think shes probably in a bad place and slightly jealous that you are getting married. Try not to take it personal, its not you its the wedding basically. And Avoid that b*tch all day long. Say Hi and hang out with the friends and family who are happy for you. Some people.......... Hop that helped a bit!! Good Luck

Man she's a Debbie Downer. She's just a hater. Just dont talk to her, as simple as that. Even if it seems rude, screw her...you dont need all that negativity.

I agree with one of other posts- I would just confront her about it. You shouldn't have to excuse her stupid behavior. Tell her if she continues to spit fire throughout your engagment, then you would prefer her not to be there.
