Annoyed....(with pic)

So i have the linen package with my RH and i went to the showcase tonight and was able to check out the table set up EXCEPT i dont see the chocolate brown linen.....hmmmm i ask my concierge woman person and she says that olive colored linen looks chocolate brown when photographed.... uhhhhhhh WHAT???!!!!

i mean she said i could take that off my contract and she would help me price out different vendors but still!!!! who puts photographs of linens they offer that CLEARLY are not the color in the pictures???!!!!!

sorry had to vent

on the bright side i saw a fabulous centerpiece that i love so that kinda makes up for it lol

call me crazy but it looks brown.... i found it on the site and it does say olive green there but in their binder they gave me it was just pics.

and it was seriously OLIVE when i saw it like those green olives in martinis!!!!!!!

thats really strange, because olive and chocolate are two different colors-very misleading

sorry girl but def you should keep on that linen situation they shouldn't have to tell you that you can't take it out if the picture is nothing like the real thing!! sorry!! but i am glad you like the CP

thats what im trying to figure out and im not the only one, fh saw it my parents and my sister and not one questioned the color!!! everyone though it was brown ahhhhh!!!!!

Did you see it in person or just in photographs?

Either way, I'm not sure how they could pass olive off for brown. That stinks!

BUT...hooray for finding centerpieces!

yeah - you don't want brown in your color scheme and than have people see olive green and be like ***

i hate to say it, but yes, olive green can look brown depending on the shade. you ladies are probably thinking army fatigue green or pea soup green.

bust out a Pantone book and you'll see what i'm saying. some people can't tell the difference between some colors because they're so slight! it's just a tweak of either CMYK or RGB
