We were at FILs last night for dinner and we were discussing the wedding (obvs) and how FH's niece and nephew were leaving after the ceremony and who was taking them home. FH's sort of cousin said 'I dont care, I will leave after the ceremony'... really? you rather babysit two 3 yr olds instead of partying at my wedding?!
So I responded with 'Well thats not insultuing to us, thanks' (She had no comment after that)
ugh. mini vent over.

i don't think she meant 'i don't care' as like 'i don't care if i'm at your wedding.' i think she meant it more like 'i don't mind' bc she wanted to help out. but still it is a dumb thing to say... very tactless.
