Annoying Vendor for all you gals getting married at a Temple!

I went last week to Temple Emanuel in Great Neck to check it out and see if getting married at a Temple was for me (even thought we were at Sans Souci the day before and loved it - which I told the guy)...we went and saw the 2 caterers (Signature Catering) and they showed us around. It wasn't for me + you have use either of the 2 contracted florists - which are well known and WAY out of my price range.

He kept on telling me not to worry about it - and wanted to know WHO was paying for the wedding!! Some nerve!

After they showed us around, they wanted to know how we would make our decision...I felt like they were pushy but I laughed telling them we would decide by talking about it!

So...we decided on Sans Souci and I wrote the caterer thanking him and all for showing us around & that I wasn't interested...

He emailed me back saying he was sorry and he would make me the party of my life. I left it alone - he called us EVERY DAY over the weekend, I emailed him AGAIN saying thanks but NO...today he called AGAIN...I put him on the phone with FH and he basically told him no again and hung up on him...

Just letting you know that this guy is pushy - that way if you like the temple...know before you go!

Then, maybe it was just me!
I was surprised at them, but maybe business is slow and they are looking for customers...they must be good b/c they have been in business for a long time - I was surprised at how many times they called me and how foward they were.

I thought it was just a little weird that they called and called after I wrote them a nice thank you note, thanking him for his time and that we weren't interested & that wasn't enough.

I am so not like that - I never hang up on anyone! They made me uncomfortable - but everyone has different experiences...
