OMG...if I have to listen to this ignorant, loud, obnoxious lady one more time, I'm going to end up punching her....
She is very outspoken and curses and was going off this morning about certain religious groups & how obnoxious they are & how 'rich, white men are the worst on the train. God forbid they give up their seat....blah blah blah.'
Then she's going off on policemen and about how all the gov't cares about is a certain religious group....
EVERY MORNING she is ranting like this & loud & cursing.
It makes me sick.

OMG I hate these passengers too! Do they honestly think that people want to hear that crap first thing in the morning?!? I just don't understand how some people can be so obviously rude and think nothing of it!
If this wacko is a regular, has anyone ever said anything to her - like SHUT UP or anything along those lines?

well, I know on my train at least - other passengers are NOT shy about this I've had to 'remind' a few people to lower their voices a couple times too. But when people start cursing and making gender/race related remarks, that's just crossing the line, and I'm surprised no one has said anything to her about that!

I see her more on the platform & she has 3 ladies she stands with & anytime they say something against her, she will say, 'are you kidding me, do you really believe that.' As of now no one has said anything to her....I just find myself moving further along the platform (although you can still hear her). I'm waiting for the day someone goes off on her!!!!!!

you must have very patient and nice people on your train for them to not scream at her for being so rude and annoying! My train seems to attract all the yellers too, but the other passengers are not shy about letting them know when to shut it! Just last month alone there were five fights on my train from people talking too loud on thir cell phones! I've even chimed in on a few occasions myself - it's amazing how daft some people can be on these trains!!!!

This is EXACTLY why I never ride the train or take an airplane flight without a walkman.
I used to change cars, or if I knew where she was on the platform, move before even getting on the train.

I hate the LIRR. Can't everybody just stick a cork in it for their trip? We would all be a lot happier if everyone just shut up and read something or listened to their music or had a quiet conversation with the person next to them.
