I think RDs have gotten out of hand...
First, the point of it is to go over what needs to be done the day of the wedding...anyone not involved in the wedding has no reason to be there. And second...it's to thank those people who are involved in the wedding, as your BP, readers, whatever. Again, anyone else, has no reason to be there. If you choose to have a larger party, where you include OOT guests, family and whatnot, fine, that's your individual choice. But, when it's just the BP, anyone who's not in the BP, has no reason, or right, to be offended. i wouldn't sweat it, if I were you. JMO.
