Another addressing envelopes question

R U putting kids' names on the inner envelopes?
The etiquette says that if they have kids under 18 and I don’t mind kids at the wedding it should be
Smith family outer
Mr. and Mr. Smith
Jane and Tom (2 kids)
What do u think?

outer:
Mr and Mrs John Smith

inner:
Mr and mrs Smith
Jessica, James and Sally

So when do u write Smith family? Like maybe if ur not sure about the first names?
But u did include children's name? They weren’t excluded?
