Another Adressing Invites Question
For a friend who does not live w/ S.O., but I know his name, would I address the invite to her on the outside envelope: Ms. Michele Smith 555 XXXXX NY, NY and then 'Michele and John' on the inside envelope OR Michele Smith and Guest on the outside (with adress)??? If this one, what would I write on the inside??

I would do it like this ...
Ms. Michelle Smith and Guest and on the inside envelope, either write Michelle and John or Michelle and Guest (depending on how serious they are and if I know him). For my invites - I wrote and Guest unless they were engaged or living together. You never know what can happen up until the day of the wedding!

Another Adressing Invites Question
i like just putting the persons name on the outside mailing envelope who you are actually mailing to and then putting the personal 'and guest' or guests name on the inside envelope. If they are seriously bf/gf, I would put his name instead of guest. I have always thought this was a nice thing when my bf's invitations had my name on them instead of guest.

Only the names of the people you know are on the outside envelope (Ms. Jane Smith, 222 West 4th Street...). The second envelope indicates the 'and Guest' or first name of the person you know they will bring. If you know the name you should use it as a sign of courtesy... after all, you want someone to come to your wedding to recognize the committment between you and your FI. If you know they are in a committed relationship I think the courtesy of treating it as such is necessary. Saying 'and Guest' implies that you did not even know the name of their significant other.Welcome New Vendors
