It is a 8' cake that serves 8-12 people but the cake is very high and dense and the frosting is very rich so I personally feel it serves more than that many people.
THe cake cost $55 because I wanted those decorations - but if I wanted an fall themed decoration it would have been $45.
The inside was chocolate and walnut with maple frosting.

mcc101 - do you have a pic?? Did you also have to pick it up?? One thing that annoys me about having to pick it up is that they dont even put the cake in a sturdy box so that it doesnt get smushed on the sides.
The first time I bought a cake there-they put the cake in a pretty big box and I took the train home and the cake got home in one piece with no part of the frosting touching the sides.
I have subsequently bought three more cakes from there and each time it gets smushed on the sides. That really bothers me bec I want to get my wedding cake from there but I dont want it to be smushed on teh sides - especiailaly since i want flowers all over the entire cake - top and sides. hmm...
