Another BM bites the dust....

ALright well, FH and I got an email from my 'best-Friend' since 4th grade saying how she is dropping out of the bridal party.
(mind you there is less than 6 months to go)
We are ordering the BM's Dresses this week...and she said she cant afford it and our wedding is the most expensive one out of the 3 weddings she has.
im a lil upset right now.

We havent written her back yet...what do i say?
Do?

PS her daughter is my flower girl...so now who is going to watch her in the limo??

Debi had five BM drop out because of expense. I think we can all agree that things can come up, that prevent a girl from affording to be in the wedding, such as job loss; However, the girls had a year since they said they would be in the wedding, to save money toward it, if they really cared. Knowing some of the girls, it's a disappointment to see they must not really care about Debi's feelings. Sorry if this sounds harsh. And knowing the extreme budget Debi and Fred are on, they can't offer to help pay the expenses of those who can't afford it. Mary MOB

I think you are being fair and that *****- esp. since she's been your friend for so long. Absolutely have a conversation with her about it- even if you have to be the bigger person to call. Maybe she's just overwhelmed after the holidays with all the expenses.... and since it's her dress, alterations & the FG dress?? She should have called though but some people are so funny about $$$$>> GOOD LUCK
