Another BP Gift question

Do you think it's unfair to spend more on the girls than on the guys? What if it was a $50 difference? What if it was a $100 difference?

I don't think there is...It all depends on what you are buying...I happen to think that BM's are much easier to buy for them the guys...You can always get the girls accessories to go with their attire for the wedding..Men are just difficult!!!

Plus the fact that the girls have more expenses as a BM. The shower, dress, shoes, hair, jewelry... the guys have it easy (what else is new?). I personally think the girls' presents should be more. Men go to a Bachelor Party. Woe are them. lol

We're spending about the same, but it depends how much they have done for you. His GM had a bachelor party, but it wasn't like a huge planning thing, they all went to dinner and to a strip club. My girls are planning a shower and a bachelorette party (which will probably cost more than his bach party), so I wouldn't feel bad spending a bit more on them. FH wanted to pay for the GMs tuxes as their gift (he didn't trust them to pay on their own) and I'm getting my girls actual gifts.

They guys were spending about $100-$150 on. The girls are looking like they'll be coming in around $200. This should be okay, right? I agree, the girls do much more than the guys.

It's fair - the girls defintely do/spend more.

I'm spending way more on my BMs than on the GM for the same reason that the other have said. They have much more to pay for and aside from that, they have a much greater involvement in the planning process.

i see nothing wrong with it...it's your choice to spend that $$ on the girls--i mean i think the girls really get more involved helping you than the GM do with the groom. go for it!
