I just got a quote for $10pp from a cake guy out in Southampton. What is everyone paying for their cakes?? Does anyone have any good recommendations for me? The closer to the hamptons the better (save me money on deliver). Thanks so much!

At first I was going to go to Kreig's bake shop in Hampton Bays. I spoke with a young girl and she said they would be able to design celtic knots on my wedding cake. Well, I drop by today to give them the design and was told they don't do wedding cakes, and was sorry for the inconvience!!!!!. I went to Blue Duck on Hampton Road today and they are able to do the design. They suggested having a 3 tier cake (for display and cutting)and a sheet cake (which will stay in the kitchen) They gave me an approx. price of $350 for 3 tiers and $60 for the sheet cake. I have nothing to compare this price too except the quote you got. Who did you call in Southampton? I hope this info helps. Their # is 631-204-1701 address is 30 Hampton Rd

Hi - I just replied to your other post! I did try the Blue Duck and spoke to Keith who was very nice. He quoted around $425 for 130 people for the basketwieve design. That's the only bakery I know of there - do you have any other suggestions?

Wow! That seems better than the price I got. My cake (3 tier 6,8,10 diameter plus sheet cake) is for 100 people @ $410. She said basket weave would cost extra. They are calling me tomorrow to confirm the actual price. I hope it goes down.
