Another Catholic wedding question
My Church is charging us $675 to get married in the Church. How much is everyone else being charge? Or do you have to make a donation??

LOL...the donation at our church is $425, plus a $125 deposit (they say is refundable)
They said $125 was in case we left a mess and they would be stuck cleaning it....like with rose petals and what not!!

In case you left a mess?!
My church is charging us $600. We put down a $100 deposit. Payments made to the church are considered donations, so keep your receipts!

$500 donation which is for everything and then pre-cana was $175....completely worth the $$ to us.

we're paying $325 for the church, $225 for the music (plus $125 for a trumpeter) and $20 for the altar servers. Our pre cana was FREE!

Mine is charging us $550! I think that is insane since I went to school there from 1-8th grade and went to church there my whole life!

We are paying $500 which includes the singer and organist. We didn't have to put anything down and pre-cana is $40.

My church is charging us around $500 - and pre cana was $175 - the biggest ripoff to us - precana served no purpose in our eyes.
