My Church is charging us $675 to get married in the Church. How much is everyone else being charge? Or do you have to make a donation??

Re: Another Catholic wedding question
we're paying $400 and not to start drama (which it probably will regardless so I apologize in advance...) but solely IMO the church could charge me whatever they wanted to and I would gladly pay it because that is THE MOST important part of the day.
and a few hundred is not much in comparison to a few thousand for a hall which many brides - self included - are paying for.

Re: Another Catholic wedding question
We are paying about that much too-its considered a donation. We also have to tip the lady who does our rehearsal, the office lady and the altar boys.
