Another Central AC ? Do you get yours inspected each year?
We received a solicitation from the company that installed the central ac in our house for an inspection and a labor contract. The system was installed in 2001. Do we need to do this?

We got our inspected by Sears. When we bought the house...the previous owners (only there a year) didnt know how old the unit was so we decided to get it inspected to see. Sears had a special for $69.99 they would come and inspect the unit and out filters. Im glad we did, the guy told us that our unit is about 4 years old and that its in GREAT shape. He did give us a tip though...to change the filter every 30 -45 days depending on how much you use it. That will help prolong the life of the unit.
Call Sears and see if the special is still avaliable.
