Our DJ is booked!! We met with Tommy from Tommy's Tunes tonight and what a great guy! We will have Frank as our MC. Soooo excited!!!

Congrats!! Love Tommy, booked them too without the MC as we would have had to upgrade and we can't afford it.

FH and I still have to find one for this June and I'd like to find one close to the hotel in Stony Brook/Setauket who is reasonably priced as the ceremony flowers have to be there at 8am and money is Very tight, otherwise I'd go with someone highly recommended closer to home.

Good luck with the florist. Do you have your bakery already too? Did you take the package at East Wind like we did? We love it.

Thanks! Good luck with finding your florist as well... I have no idea who we are going to use. Honestly that is the detail I am the least interested in because I am not really a flower person and wouldn't know the first thing of picking the flowers lol I guess I will wait til we decide on a color and go from there. We didn't do the package at East Wind, they didn't offer it for the estate. I think we have to do samples from the rolling pin bakery then decide on our cake? What bakery are you using??

I guess the Estate doesn't have packages. However we did see the outside while going to our cottage and it is beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful time.

We will probably be going with Rolling Pin as it is part of our package. I hope to order the samples within the next month, if the weather complies.

The florist on site there is part of the package, but only for centerpieces. We can either rent 10 centerpieces and if anyone walks off with them pay for them or buy ten that look like potted plants. We have a $200 credit as it were to either one.

We are planning on buying the vases, I have the floating candles and we are collecting the shells from the beach. For the same $200 they will assemble them for us with water and a flower in each one (30 vases, 3 diff sizes). It will still be cheaper than the other way around and our guests at each table can decide if they want them as a set of 3 or if 3 people will take 1 each. Up to them.

The ceremony is going to be harder and much more costly and we really don't have much to work with. We are really hoping for someone reasonable and talented to do what we need and get it to us in time.

I don't know much about flowers, but my FBIL used to own a shop, of course he sold it last year...silly man. lol The good thing is he is willing to help us find good prices and counsel us on things so we don't go in blind.
