So FH and I booked our photographer... White Pear... and I'm so excited. We even booked our E-pic date, October 20th at Robert Moses, to get different pictures compared to our wedding pictures (Fall type). I know I have time to start searching for an outfit but lets face it ladies, it is never to early to start shopping and putting outfits together. I just have one problem, I don't know what to wear. All I know is that I don't want to wear any pattern prints since the pictures might look too busy then. Should I do a dress and heels or keep it casual and do jeans with an off the shoulder top? Any input from the fashionists will help!!!

I'm on the search for an e-pic outfit as well. I want to hopefully take mines at the end of Oct. I am thinking of a blazer with a plain top underneath and either dark or color jeans with flats.
I have heard from a lot of other brides that most photographers will suggest to not wear a dress because it can limit poses but I say what ever you are comfortable in go with it! That to me is most important. You don't want to fuss with your outfit or feel uncomfortable because it will def show in your pictures.

Another Check... Now I need Outfit Help!
Thanks for the input. Our engagement session is 2.5 hours long and the photographer suggested that we could bring a change of clothes. We will be taking our pictures at Robert moses which is right on the beach, has a boardwalk, a lighthouse and old looking houses so we can get a few different scene shots. I like the idea of jeans and a tank top. Very simple and casual. Maybe I'll bring different shoes with me to change it up a bit. Maybe some ankle booties. :) where are you taking your pictures?

Your location sounds very nice! Lots of opportunity for great pictures. That would be awesome to do an outfit change if you can. You can do a dress and jeans.
I am actually communicating with my photographer about locations. Might go with Bronx Botanical Gardens. I have been browsing online looking for outfits lol

You may need something warmer though if you are taking pics on the beach in late October. Maybe a sweater, jeans and cute boots?
