I don't want to keep calling the church and being a pain, so I figured I would start with you girls. As far as setting up your music, and readings doe the priest or someone get in touch with you to go over that?

Re: Another Church Question
I sent the Deacon who is marrying us an email to ask this and we set up an appointment for next weekend. I'm sure someone would have contacted me if I hadn't, but I'm too much of a worrier to wait and see!

Re: Another Church Question
We were given a book for planning our wedding mass at pre cana- We used it to pick our readings. When we met with the priest we went through the parts of the mass and finalized everything. The way my church handles the music for the mass is that the couple meets directly with the music director- We were given his phone number.

Re: Another Church Question
I had to coordinate everything with the organist for the rehearsal. I don't understand why, because she told me that everything was scheduled 'pending final approval by the priest'. So why couldn't we just schedule directly with the church? Regardless, supposedly she will send us a list of song choices via email, but she hasn't yet, I wasn't clear if she meant eventually or soon. Every church and denomination is different though, so your best bet really will be to call your specific church to find out how they handle it.
