Another David's post I'm bumping for Divabride
Okay, I've posted before about my issues over at David's Bridal (the Danbury, CT store, not Carle Place).
I spoke to corporate. They told me that my dress has been SITTING IN THE STORE SINCE 10/17. My mom called a few weeks ago (since 10/17, certainly) to find out if my dress had come in yet, and was told it hadn't.
Corporate is just as disgusted with the service I received, and gave me a few options:
1. Get money back altogether. This would allow me to either buy the dress at another store (at which they would honor all the discounts I originally got), or just go buy a completely different dress from a completely different store. If I bought a new dress from another store they'd charge me full price on the additional items I got for 15% off, which I love and I don't want to return. Either way, I would still have the 15% off on my BM's dresses and shoes.
2. Pick up the dress in Danbury, and they'd give me an additional 20% of the dress, which would add up to about $100.
To make matters worse, I've been having second thoughts about the dress (mainly as a result of all the problems David's has given me). I bought the dress the first day I went shopping, and I've been secretly regretting not shopping around more. I wonder though if that's just all biproduct of the stress of this whole issue.
So what should I do? I have 24 hours to make my decision. Take the additional 20% off my dress, or get my money back completely to go shopping for a new dress, or get my money back to use at another branch of David's and buy a new dress?
Please help!!!!!!!!!
