another DIY...my garter

so i bought a plain garter and added ribbons, some gold pearl sprays and rhinestones all through the botter for that light effect it will give at the ceremony

Question, why is more fancier than the other ? What do they symbolize ?

My Guess : The fancier one is for freak 'em dress at the hotel after the wedding ???

One is for keeping, the other is for throwing. The thinner one is usually the one you throw so it's less elaborate. The fancier one becomes a memento for you.
