first of all: THERE ARE NO 'DUMB' QUESTIONS!!!!!

ok, when someone puts only the word 'bump' as a post that means that she is purposely moving that thread to the top of the current page.

this can be done to help someone looking for something or to get more attention on a thread with a question that no one has answered yet.

so... the poster is 'bumping' it to the top of the line

perfectly said...means there post has gone to page number 4,5,6,7 with no attention and they are moving it up FRONT of the line.... bumping it...
