Another dumb question?
Ok girls, when do you get bustled? Is it after the first dance or is every hall different?

Re: Another dumb question?
I think it's up to you. I've seen it done at different times. My train is detachable, so I think I'm going to take it off right after the ceremony.

Re: Another dumb question?
I think I'll keep mine down thru the pictures and the first dance. Then get bustled. I think it's best - I might even bustle after the pictures so I can dance easier. I think a lot depends on hte comfort of your gown. My train is extremely long and heavy.

Re: Another dumb question?
I'm going to bustle my train during the Cocktail Hour before our first dance. I have a Cathedral length train, so I don't want it in the way! Oh, I'm doing a French bustle.

Re: Another dumb question?
I'm definitely getting bustled before the first dance...I can't see how I would be able to dance without it...

Re: Another dumb question?
I cut off my train...and loved it...unless you have a loop to hold onto can you dance with your dress not bustled? also are you going to be walking around during the cocktail hour? I wouldn't want it dragging on the ground with people stepping on it...

Hi Jenn!!!
Not a dumb question at all!! I bustled my dress after the first dance. (But I think it was more after the toast because they sat us down right away for the toast!!)I was at a wedding once where the bride bustled during the cocktail hour and her mother had a fit because she didn't walk in w/her train. So it really depends on what you want to do!!

Re: Hi Jenn!!!
Thanks!I am old fashioned I guess you can say. We won't appear in our coktail hour, I want everyone to see us for the first time when we are announced into the reception and I'd prefer to walk in with my train flowing...I guess I'll dance our first dance holding it in that loop they make.
