If I place a bid, but the Reserve Price has not been met, am I still obligated to buy the auction item?

I don't think the seller is obligated to sell you the item. I am not sure if you can back out of your bid if they decide to sell it below the reserve price.

If the reserve price isnt met, you do not win the item...therefor you dont have to pay for the item
