i posted the other day that FMIL keeps saying we should have eloped. there is something else that bothers me even more that she has said twice...

and tonight i got to hear it for a THIRD TIME after we finished eating dinner...

'if somebody keeps eating so much she's not gonna fit in that white dress!'

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

why does she have to say things like that?! i didnt even eat an excessive dinner!

thats crazy she would say something like that, i can understand though because i bite my toungue at times to my FMIL out of respect for FH, and hes also heard things from my mother just try your best to ignore it, or tell FH how much its bothering you , maybe he can speak to her about it...or take the bitchy route...and come back with a slick comment lol

Yeah I 've heard you should just elope from coworkers....blahhhhh they're just bitter and jealous especially my boss. He personally told me he has $0.00 saved up for his daughter's wedding. I feel bad for her she's the same age as me and he keeps asking me what everything costs.

YES. I Can't stand the weight thing...It makes me so angry-- if you are not insecure about your weight, then people (my mom) feels the need to imply that I should be.

Yea mine made a comment like 'You better starve yourself before that wedding.' And started telling me a story about some girl who gained weight and didn't fit in her dress. I bit my tongue but I was REALLY offended. My own mother knows better than to ever to say things like that to me. Girls are really sensitive about their weight- I just couldnt believe she'd make a comment like that.
